Easy, no-fuss ordering

We happily accept orders online, by mail, phone, fax or email until 31st August 2012. All catalogues contain an order form which you are free to photocopy. Alternatively you can download a form here or call us and we'll gladly send one to you. Once we receive your order, we will send you an order confirmation. However please note that we don't send regular statements.

Straightforward pricing

Prices include the cost of collecting your payments (charged to us by our bank), packing your hampers, delivering across the nation (unless where specified) plus GST. All prices are also inclusive of tax and duty where applicable, but should there be any alteration in rates of tax and duty or any unforeseen food or fuel price increases, the company reserves the right to substitute or adjust prices accordingly. Castle Hampers reserves the right to make product substitutions of all products.

Staying on track for Christmas

We want buying from Castle Hampers to be a very positive experience for you, so please only order what you feel you can comfortably repay over the year. We are happy to send you a statement of your progress on request. If you are getting off-track compared to your original order payment plan, we can still help you work towards a wonderful Christmas by accepting an additional payment from you or by revising your order. If at any time you are having difficulties with your payment plan, please call us to discuss your options. If you are starting your payment plan well into the payment plan, we may require an initial down-payment.

Payments and penalties

Payments via Direct Debit will be debited from your account between 12 noon and 12 midnight on the date you specify payment. If you wish to change payment amounts, skip payments or stop payments, please contact Castle Hampers at least the business day before your payment is due. However, if you have numerous missed or skipped payments, or you are nearing the last payments in your payment plan, we may no longer be able to skip payments for you. Banks will charge a fee to both you and Castle Hampers for insufficient funds so please ensure you have money available in your account on payment day. If you do miss a payment due to insufficient funds, a closed account or incorrect details supplied by you, a $3.50 administration fee will be charged by Castle Hampers and included in your automatic payment recalculation. We reserve the right to reduce or cancel your order should your payment plan fall too far behind. We reserve the right to deduct a $25 administration fee per annum from any credit balance which has been on an inactive account. Your Direct Debit will continue until cancelled as a Castle EzyPlan. Your EzyPlan is fully refundable prior to placing an order should you want to stop it at no cost to you.

 

Free Gift – (if applicable)
Orders must be fully paid to qualify for any free gift on offer. Free gift will be shipped to the Castle member’s address only.

 

Terms of use - Gift Card/Voucher
Gift Cards and Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used to pay off in-store accounts or finance agreements. No change will be given. Once issued, if lost, stolen or destroyed they can not be replaced or refunded. Harvey Norman Gift Cards, once issued, are valid for 24 months. Big4 Vouchers are valid for 12 months. Damages and Replacements

We will gladly replace items or reimburse you should a product be damaged in transit and in accordance with our legal responsibilities as a merchant. We are unable to accept returns for other reasons such as a 'change of mind'.

Delivery

We deliver right across the nation. Closer to the time of delivery we will send you a delivery advice card to inform you when your hampers and/or products will be delivered. This will show more detailed information about your delivery. Whilst every effort is made to deliver within the date range, Castle Hampers cannot accept any liability for delay due to the customer's failure to complete customer obligations or any other reason beyond the control of Castle Hampers (and/or its staff). Castle Hampers cannot accept any liability resulting from a contracted party's failure to deliver on the date advised. Every effort will be made to deliver in time for Christmas.

Changing your Delivery Address

Should your delivery address change, please inform us immediately. If you do not advise us of your change of address by the 16th October 2012 and you move within the same state, a $25 administration fee will apply. If you move to another state, a $50 administration fee will apply. Should this situation occur, delivery of your hampers cannot be guaranteed prior to Christmas.

Delivery Charges

Delivery costs are included except where stipulated throughout the catalogue. Some Castle Savings Club products may incur a delivery surcharge because they are large items. If you live in any of the following postcodes, a delivery surcharge of $80 will apply for each product.

In all other areas, a $30 surcharge will apply for each product (where stipulated).

Delivery to Remote Areas

For some hamper/product deliveries to remote rural areas we may ask you to collect your order from a local pickup point or depot. Please check this before you order. This information will also be communicated to you when you receive your delivery advice card.

Please note: Not all products are available in all areas of Australia.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to keep up your payments for any reason, please contact our friendly Customer Service Team on 1800 132 132 as soon as possible to discuss your options. These options may include cancelling your order. If your order is cancelled, cancellation charges may apply, in which case, a fee will be deducted from your refund as follows:

Castle Hampers will allow you to cancel your order within 21 days of the date of your original order confirmation ("Cooling Off Period"). Within this Cooling Off Period, there will be no cancellation fee. Please note that once your order is fully paid for, you cannot cancel your order (even if the Cooling Off Period has not expired).

After the Cooling Off Period, the following cancellation fees will apply, based on the 'Final Payment Due' date printed on your original order confirmation:

Prior to 1st July: 20% of monies paid at the date of cancellation.

From 1st July to the Final Payment Due Date: 50% of monies paid at the date of cancellation

Your order cannot be cancelled once it is fully paid for.

Please note that Castle Hampers only orders your goods when you have ordered them from us. We do not maintain a retail store. This means that our costs if you cancel your order may be higher than other retailers.

This contract is governed by the law of the state or territory in which the customer resides except for residents of the ACT whose contracts will be governed by the law of NSW.
